Day of Action
Groups across the country are going out to tackle problems in their own area. We want yours to be one of them.
JoinTired of walking past the same overflowing bin?
The same tagged shutter?
The same road sign that is barely readable?
Well, Clean Up Britain and Looking For Growth have teamed up to coordinate thousands of people in a nationwide clean-up. On the 11th October, groups across the country are going out to tackle problems in their own area — and we want yours to be one of them.
You choose what to take on.
No one loves your neighbourhood like you do, and nobody knows it better. So you decide what needs doing, and get it done.
Say you're coming
Click attending and fill in the form to get involved. Tell us where you are, whether you're coming on your own or bringing a group, and what you'd like to fix.
We'll coordinate the groups, put your event on the map, and make sure the day gets the attention it deserves.
Already run a community group?
Please let us know in the form — we'd love to boost your achievements and partner with you on the 11th October.

Pick your target
Litter pick
The canal towpath, the verge by the retail park, the park after a sunny weekend.
Graffiti
The tagged shutter on the high street, the railway bridge nobody has touched in years.
Road signs
Scrubbed clean and cleared of undergrowth so you can actually read them again.
Fly-tipping
The pile in the lay-by that has been reported four times and is STILL THERE.
A litter pick along the canal. Graffiti off the railway bridge. Road signs scrubbed and cleared of undergrowth. The fly-tip in the lay-by that has been reported four times and is still there. If it bothers you, it's a target.
You do the doing. We do the rest.
We coordinate the groups
Tell us where you are and what you want to take on. We handle the joining up.
We put your event on the map
Every clean-up on one national map, so neighbours can find you and turn up.
We get the day noticed
Press, film and social. If thousands of people fix Britain in a day, everyone should hear about it.
