Looking For Growth

Liverpool

About the chapter

Liverpool is a powerhouse of potential — but for too long, that energy has been bottled up by delay, inertia, and a failure of imagination. That's why the Liverpool Chapter of Looking for Growth was born: a movement of local champions who are done waiting and ready to lead. We're here to spark growth, boost local jobs, and back the big ideas that will transform our city's future.

Yes, we face real challenges — from housing shortages to poor transport links and untapped energy opportunities. But none of these are beyond our reach. We believe in solutions, not stalemates. We're mapping out what's holding Liverpool back and demanding action that gets shovels in the ground. It's time our councils built for the future — and we're making sure they hear the voices of a city hungry to grow.

From Bootle to Birkenhead, Speke to St Helens, the Liverpool Chapter is uniting residents who believe in building more homes, connecting our communities, and unlocking the full strength of our economy. If you believe Liverpool can lead, not lag - the future starts with you. Join us.

New Transport Connections

We're championing new transport connections around Bramley-Moore Dock — turning Everton's stadium into a catalyst for lasting regeneration and economic dynamism in North Liverpool.

Clean Tidal Power

We're backing the Mersey Tidal Power project — a once-in-a-generation chance to unleash clean energy, supercharge green industry, and create thousands of future-ready jobs across our region.

LFG Growth Statement

And we're taking our Growth Statement straight to all 360 councillors across the Liverpool City Region — pushing for bold, urgent action to unlock new homes, fast-track infrastructure, and drive the investment we need to power up our communities.
