Looking For Growth

Hammersmith & Fulham

About the chapter

Hammersmith and Fulham has a lot going for it — a great location, a strong community, and plenty of energy — but it's also facing some real challenges that are holding it back. Housing supply is stuck, local infrastructure like Hammersmith Bridge has been in limbo for years, and the cost of living keeps rising with few new ideas on how to tackle it. Our chapter of Looking for Growth is about bringing together people who live and work here who think we can, and should do better. We believe that by coming up with practical ideas and pushing for smarter local policies, we can start shifting things in the right direction.

We're not here to chase big, abstract goals. We want real improvements that will make H&F a better place to live and work — more homes for local people, a night-time economy that young people actually want to stick around for, and proper investment in infrastructure that helps everyone, not just headline projects that get stuck for years. H&F has the potential to be the best place in London for families, businesses, and young professionals — but it won't happen without a push. That's what we're here to do.

Unlock More Housing

Support small, community-backed developments — like street votes and infill projects — that can deliver hundreds of new homes without waiting for massive, controversial schemes.

Boost Local Business And The Night Economy

Back policies that cut red tape for small businesses, protect pubs and venues, and make it easier for young people to live, work, and enjoy H&F without being priced out.

Engage With Local Politicians

Build relationships with councillors, MPs, and local decision-makers to make sure the voice for growth is heard — and push for practical policies, not just more consultations.
